How much does it cost to join the co-op?
There are different levels of investment available. The program is designed by GW New York to significantly enhance advertising reach and media impressions for co-op sponsors who engage in national or regional brand campaigns. However, even a local advertiser who is part of a manufacturer co-op and joins this program, for example, could experience the benefits. The amount contributed to the co-op can therefore vary. In all cases, we provide pre-negotiated media packages to co-op partners that reflect our proprietary CMOHF media purchasing rates. A sponsor is not required to purchase additional advertising to join this program, but this is an option. Most companies do not increase their overall advertising expenditure. To join the co-op they may simply redirect a portion of their existing media budget to the CMOHF Co-op.
What if we already work with a media buying agency?
GW New York and our media partners do not replace your current media buying agency of record. We specifically assist you with this opportunity, while they continue business as usual. GW New York and our media partners must purchase all CMOHF Co-op media packages. All other media buying continues to rest with your existing agency.
What is included in the media packages?
All media packages are comprehensive and designed to penetrate key markets & demographics for sponsors who participate in the CMOHF Co-op. The packages include a variety of traditional and digital media. Packages are customized to meet the brand objectives and reach the target customers for each sponsor in the program.
Who designs the creative for co-op ads?
Your creative agency's involvement in the design and development of creative for the co-op ads is encouraged! CMOHF has final approval over any creative, but GW New York will provide assistance to ensure CMOHF compliance. We encourage your creative agency of record to be as involved as possible in the production of creative assets for the ads.
